Lovergirl is the AI visual world VTOPYA created for River Rojas' single "lover girl", designed to carry a month-long rollout across Instagram and TikTok. Working hand in hand with River and creative director Lucia O'Connor-McCarthy, VTOPYA took the project from the first tests to the final delivery: character design, planets and environments, animation, typography, the vertical social clips and the single artwork.

The story is a love that crosses worlds. Aelis is a Lightbringer, born from the radiance of a star, with pearlescent skin that glows from within and hair made of light. Oryn is a Mireborn who rises from the misty swamps of her water planet, with moss for hair, delicate fins and skin that seems to grow out of the landscape. One has never been held, the other has never been seen, until Aelis drifts down to Oryn's planet and the two finally choose each other.
