SYKY Magazine is the digital-first fashion title led by Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti. For its first two issues, VTOPYA co-founder Yasmin Gross created the covers with generative AI, each one built around a single material idea.

Issue 01, New Wave, opened the magazine in January 2025 under the line "Fashion in the digital era". The inaugural issue featured Kate Barton reimagined digitally and a conversation between Formichetti and Yasmin. On the cover, a figure emerges from a sculpted wave of clear blue water that wraps around her shoulders like liquid glass, set against a pale silver backdrop, with the SYKY letters themselves cast in water.

Issue 02, Beyond Limits, followed in February 2025 as an ode to ANREALAGE. It draws on the "WIND" collection for Spring/Summer 2025, in which Kunihiko Morinaga used air as a design material, with garments that swell, deflate and change shape as if they were breathing.…
