Petal Part is part of Yasmin Gross's personal exploration as X Machina Flora, where flowers and the human form merge.

In this series, petals take the place of parts of the body, so that lips, eyelids and skin become botanical. It sits at the core of the X Machina Flora language, the meeting point of beauty, nature and distortion that runs through Yasmin's artistic practice. Selected images continue as short animated clips.
